Before I had a Patreon, the "Donation Meter" used to be how I would try to encourage people to send me money. It was actually pretty straightforward, and worked pretty decently: for everyone $100 I recieved in donations, I would do an extra page. Many extra pages were done because of this.
For posterity's sake, here is the old Donation text:
"Would you like to see Flipside updated faster? Help support the comic by donating money, and I will do an extra page for every 100 dollars donated! Remember, every dollar helps! If everyone donated just one dollar, I'd be doing 5 pages a week minimum. (and I might actually be able to make a living doing this thing!) So help me pay for bandwidth and the eventual costs of printing Flipside, because I need all the help I can get!" |

Onlinecomics.net used to be a database of webcomics. It had a rating
system, and people could help Flipside's rating increase by following this link. |
