Interview with Clairen Vellum

	Thank you for agreeing to do this interview.
	Not a problem...
	So, why don't we start with a few simple questions about your background. How would you describe yourself, as a person? What sort of person are you?
	Eh... well... of course, you know I'm an assassin for hire. But, I'm very selective about the jobs I take. I don't kill just anyone, just because somebody wants me to. Not at all. I take my job seriously. So I suppose... that's what kind of person I am. Someone who takes her job seriously. I'm a pretty quiet person, because of my... condition. I really can't associate with normal people very often.
	Ok, let's take some questions from readers.
	Cordarby: Do you ever feel zorry for ze people zat you have to azzazinate. Why do you do zis job if it means killing people? Ze money? Or do you just hate people?
	I don't hate people. And I'm not doing this for the money! I'm doing this because it's my way of bring justice to the world... I don't feel sorry for these people because, well, they've earned thier fate. That's the way I feel... anyway, since I accquired this special ability, it seemed like... that was God's way of telling me that I was on the right path! You see?
	Synaid: When you got your tattoo, was "paralyze guys" cheaper then "paralyze anybody" or "paralyze girls" or did you get it intending to only paralyze guys?
	You don't understand... I didn't choose to get this tattoo. Not exactly. You see, I... I was just looking for a way to become more powerful. And then I met a sorcerer who said he could grant my wish. But, at the time, I didn't know the whole truth... so, I stupidly allowed him to expiriment on my body. Now, I know how lucky I really am! Those kind of expiriments are illegal, very dangerous... if it had failed, I may have suffered... *shudders* ... a fate worse than death! So, I was very lucky that the expiriment on my body was successful. Actually, there still may be some bad side effects, but as of yet I haven't found out...
	"PV": if you were ever to actually fall in love with someone, what in the world would you do? t'd be kinda hard for marrigae and children, even just marriage if you paralized your husband every night?
	Yes... that's true. It would be very, very hard to have children. But, I don't care... I don't really want children. Or a husband.
	Solo Sagara: Howdy doo,Miss Clairen! I was wondering,Whats that little black dot on your right cheek?
	It's just a mole. Nothing special...
	Eric Kim: what type of assasinations have you done in the past? For example, an abusive husband who is also a prominent figure in public?
	That's a good question... let me see... I have killed many people. My tendency is to go after powerful individuals whom abuse thier power... I also try to help people who have been wronged and are seeking vengence. For example, in the Northern Territory, the last person I killed was a Duke who raped and killed his servant-women for fun. I only wish I could have killed him sooner... in that particular case, the person who hired me was actually a child! He was poor, so naturally he couldn't pay me... in cases such as those, I generally help myself to whatever funds are available. A dead duke has no need for valuables. I'm not a thief, despite the fact that my powers would make it very easy... but in certain cases I am willing to take payment in alternative ways.
	Katie: Why did you agree to kill Bernadete (sp?) if you don't kill just anyone? You and Bernadete were friends, I suppose, why would you want to kill her?
	What are you talking about...? I didn't agree to kill Bernadette! If she gets in my way, I have no choice but to fight her... but, I won't kill her if I can avoid it.
	Izumi: How does the sword-catcher bind work?
	Very simply! It's like an intelligent shield... it will catch any blade which comes into range (which is larger than you might think) and it's rate of success is quite high. Still, it shouldn't be completely relied upon.
	Kiara: Hey Clairen the name 's Kiara is it hard to fight Bernadetta as an assassin and a close freind because I have to do some fighting myself because with a very close freind and I can't do any holding back ,ummm... well what i'm trying to say is hard trying for you fight someone you care about .
	Is it hard to fight Bernadette...? Well, in a sense, it's hard... it was hard just to face her. But... fighting is something we used to do all the time, although, just for practice... but, it feels kind of like those sparring matches we used to have. To tell the truth, I'm glad I got the chance to fight her again... besides, I want to see if I can finally defeat her for once!
	Ebony: I (Ebony) would like to ask Clairen if she plans on being an assassin for the rest of her life, and if not, what else does she plan to do?
	Hmm... an assassin for the rest of my life. No... not necessarily... I guess it depends. On whether or not other opportunities arise. I can't say for sure. But... I guess I could never live a normal life again... not the way I am now...
	Jen: Do you kill women too? I know your name is the Man-Eater, and your tatoo only works on men, but are you ever sent to kill women?
	Well... it's not that I'm against killing women. I just haven't been offered any contracts against women that I've been inclined to accept. Hmm... maybe it's true that there is more evil in men than in women... but I'm sure some men out there would disagree!
	Dragonsun: My question is, will she ever get the tattoo removed, and is it possible to remove it?
	I don't really know if it's possible... but, I would imagine it's not. Besides... I've made up my mind that I'm going to live with it...
	Jeff Unruh: When you first took the job, did you know you would have to fight Bern?
	Not at first. But when I learned... I was a glad.
	Dizzy: Do you have any close relatives? Like where is your mother and father? any brothers or sister's?
	No... I was abandoned. I don't have any relatives that I know of.
	Alice Childress: Do you think Moss & Seraph would make a cute couple and are secretly a couple?
	Wha...?? What kind of question is that...?!
	Dillman: Are you a virgin? (I'm not suggesting anything) I'm asking because if that tattoo paralyzes men...you're screwed!(Or rather, NOT screwed)

	D'ann Hirsch: Have you, Clarien, ever heard of an Assassin's group called the Black Poison Angels? ....Or more importantly, a woman named Ashley?
	Ashley...? Yes... she was one of the women that Seraph hired to kill Bernadette. That's all I know about her...
	Selphie Trabia: Given that you do not quite enjoy your life now, was there a time when you were inherently happy?
	Happy... I suppose, back when Bernadette and I were still friends... I used to be happy then.
